“We moved from paper job cards in a single afternoon. By week two, the mechanics stopped asking for the spreadsheet.”
Why they joined
The short version: a single source of truth. The longer version is that they were tired of the spreadsheet lying, the carbon-copy job cards going missing, and the customers getting the same SMS reminder twice. The FSM model — where every state transition is logged and visible on the bay-floor board — was the wedge.
What they're running today
- Jobs Engine — every bike is a node in the FSM, with state transitions logged and visible on the bay-floor board.
- DVI — photo-backed inspections on every intake, with the upsell flow auto-generated and sent to the customer's phone.
- POS — atomic checkout at the counter, stock and invoice in one transaction.
- Customer Portal — owners can see live job progress, approve quotes, and pay without a phone call.
What's next
GGDhaka is rolling out Inventory (WAC) this quarter to get parts costs tied to the same job ledger as labour, and they're piloting Insurance Split invoicing for the fleet accounts that make up roughly 30% of their monthly work.
