Installation

TheGarageOS is fully hosted — there's nothing to install. Create a workspace and you're ready to go.

1. Create your workspace

Sign up at app.thegarageos.com and choose a workspace name. This becomes your shop's URL: <workspace>.thegarageos.com.

2. Add your team

Invite technicians, service advisors, and managers from Settings → Team. Each role gets a tailored view:

Role	Default view
Technician	Bay floor + assigned jobs
Service advisor	Intake, quotes, customer comms
Manager	Reporting, P&L, scheduling

3. Configure your bays

Go to Settings → Bays and add one bay per physical lift or work area. Bay names show up on the live Bay Floor View.
